Ordination of Fr. Andrei Paz
Fr. Andrei Paz a native of Bangar, La Union was ordained priest on December 7, 2009 at St. Christopher Parish Church in his hometown by Most Rev. Artemio Rillera, SVD, DD. Many priests including Columbans, Lay Missionaries, his family and relatives, friends and the local community came to witness his solemn ordination. Fr. Andrei celebrated his first mass on the following day December 8, 2009 at his home parish church.
The ordination was a memorable and unforgettable day both for Fr. Andrei’s family, relatives, friends and the community. We, the Columban Society are also proud of him being the 13th Filipino Columban priest.
Fr. Andrei had his FMA (First Missionary Assignment) in China for two years before he was ordained Deacon. As a newly ordained priest he is now assigned to Malate Church where he also served as a Deacon for five months. By September this year, Fr. Andrei will be sent out to mission in Taiwan.
